The Del Oro Junior Midgets beat American River last Saturday with a score of 16-8!! This sends the Junior Midgets to the Championship Game this Saturday at Natomas High School. The game will be at 3pm on Saturday, November 15th. Hope to see you all there supporting the Junior Midgets!!

Please remember only authorized personnel with gold stripe badges are allowed on the sidelines. Please make sure that your sons not on the Junior Midget team do not get on the field. If so, the other team has the ability to call a forfeit. Only two water boys and one ball boy are allowed on the field and chosen by the head coach.

A number of board positions are opening up for the upcoming year. Even more will open up the year after and in 2010 there will be no existing Board members left. In order to continue the Del Oro Junior Football and Cheer Asssociation, we need the parents to get involved!! Interested parents please contact one of the Board members (especially at the Junior Pee Wee and Mighty Mite level) as soon as possible so we can answer questions you may have and the benefits of serving on the DO Junior Board. We would like as many parents as possible to consider completing an application for a Board position. We are also looking for people that want to "mirror" a board member this next year so that they get one year of watching before performing the duties...this could be a great training experience.
